Christmas!

Okay...so it's been a while. My semester is finally over. I passed all my classes and still managed to keep my GPA up (Thank you Lord!). I've been busy working. I'll be leaving for Disney World in a few days so I'll be sure to post something about that when we get back. Christmas came and went by so fast this year. I wanted to not be rushed and just enjoy it this year, which I did. I still believe that it went by way too fast. I love Christmas time because you get to spend time with some great family and friends. This year I got to experience some new things. I went to Christmas in the Oaks and the French Quarter for the first time in my life with my friends. We went the last day of finals after we finished taking all of our tests for that day. We had a fun time. Cafe du Monde was the best! lol Christmas Eve was spent at my grandparents house briefly, and then Steven and I went to Kelly and Barrett's house to spend Christmas with his family. He has a great family. I love them all so much! They are so kind and generous to me. I just can't help but smile when I'm around them. Christmas Day, we went back to Paw Paw's house early that morning and ate a delicious breakfast that Maw Maw cooked. We opened gifts there and then went back to our house. We read the Christmas story and then opened gifts at our house. We were able to just enjoy each other's company and open our gifts. I got lots of things that I needed and wanted but didn't ask for. I'm very grateful for everything that I received from everyone this year. Thanks everyone! I truly hope that this new year brings lots of great things. Update

So it's been awhile since I posted anything. It's just been a really busy semester with work and school. I decided to post a picture of a piano that I took in one of the practice rooms. I spend way too much time in the practice rooms! lol My teacher would beg to differ though. She would say that I could always do more. Anyways... I should have another post up sometime soon! :)

Ashley's 18th Birthday Party!

This weekend we gave Ashley her 18th birthday party. We had a big huge water slide which was so much fun because it was so hot!! Dad barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and Mom made dirty rice, mac & cheese, desserts, etc, etc... It was a nice time just getting together with the whole family. Weekend on the Coast

This weekend we spent some time on the coast in Mississippi. We had a fun and relaxing time. It was the first time all summer that we were able to go to the beach. It was wonderful! :)

Girl's Trip to Texas!

What can I say? We have been wanting to take this trip for so long, but we could never get together to do it. Although everyone couldn't go... four of us managed to change our schedules and go visit our family over there. We stayed at Aunt Vickie's house and Aunt Onnie's house. We only were able to stay for four days but it was four fun days. We went shopping, ate at new restaurants, went to Splashtown and most importantly we were able to spend time with our family in Texas. We had so much fun and we're already planning our trip for next year! :)

Bowling!

Last night we went bowling! It has been so long since I've been, but we had a great time! We enjoyed all of the karaoke(most of it was pretty bad lol). I didn't win any games but it was still a lot of fun. Steven and Ashley danced all night so I know they had a great time. Luke, Kortiny, and Clark also went with us. It was just a fun night. Can't wait to do it again!

Best Friend's Wedding!

Tonight my best friend got married. It was bittersweet for me. I've known her since we were in Kindergarten together. I'm so happy for her, but it's so hard to believe that time has past that fast. It seems like we were just dancing to the Lion King at school. Now we're growing up, getting married, and moving on with our lives. I love her and wish her the best!

Chuck E. Cheese!

Ok so everyone loves to be a kid at Chuck E. Cheese...even my dad! We went to Chuck E. Cheese today with my Mom, Dad, Aunt, Sister, and Cousins. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast (even the big kids too!). Ash, Dad, and I helped out and played some games so we could get tickets for the little ones. They had all loved when Chucky came out. Except for Mackenzie...she started screaming, "It's cold in here! It's cold in here!" Why she was screaming she was cold, we don't know but it was hilarious trying to watch her get away from Chucky.
